But since I’ve written it seriously, let’s all take a look:
- What was your most successful/failed (regretted missing) investment this year?
Successful investments: Besides Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Doge; the two investments that brought me the greatest wealth this year are PePe and Ethena; one is a MEME coin, and the other is a VC coin, a peculiar combination.
Failed opportunities: I missed the explosive points related to new MEMEs and reacted a bit slowly. This is something I can strengthen in the future, or I believe that if I am not strong in this area, I can leverage the power of the community and friends to bolster my weaknesses. In the future, I plan to seize opportunities to earn returns with very small amounts of capital; as long as I don’t get addicted, I will always support trying first. In this industry, fearing failure is not an option.
- What was the most impressive industry event/news this year? Why?
The most impressive event: Trump’s election; I have never cared so much about the U.S. election.
Why—Trump, as a cryptocurrency-friendly president, made exciting commitments to this industry at the 2024 U.S. Bitcoin Conference. The logic of the "King of Understanding" is to replace the "bubble value" of U.S. debt with the "special value" of Bitcoin, creating Bitcoin as the largest financial asset and generating broader "virtual wealth" for the U.S. to be transmitted globally; this will lead to Bitcoin becoming a core resource contended for globally in the next decade.
Best quote from the King of Understanding: It’s not that Bitcoin needs the U.S., but that the U.S. needs Bitcoin!
- Did you achieve the goals you set for 2024? What are your goals for 2025?
The goal I set for 2024 was to control my hands and not act impulsively; I believe I have achieved this, and I think it’s quite impressive, cheers to my own impressiveness!
My goal for 2025 is: to double the Bitcoin standard, hoping everyone can witness it together.
- As 2025 approaches, can you share the key tracks/directions and strategies you will focus on?
I believe 2025 will enter the second phase of a bull market, with Bitcoin exceeding $200,000. Ethereum, which faced the most FUD this year, will also rise, and the ETH/BTC exchange rate will continue to climb. AI and MEME will continue to shine.
My focus areas are:
1️⃣ Ethereum and the Ethereum ecosystem
2️⃣ DEX (Decentralized Exchanges)
3️⃣ MEME and NFT
Strategy: My personal strategy is relatively conservative, with the principle of simplifying complex matters as much as possible. I have always adopted a barbell strategy in investments, with 80% of funds in Bitcoin and Ethereum, and within the remaining 20%, 80% of that will be bet on leading projects in the track, while the remaining 20% will be spent on early projects or MEMEs to seek returns. After earning returns, I will convert them into Bitcoin or Ethereum; then I only need to consider at what stage to sell Ethereum and Bitcoin.
- Do you have any New Year’s wishes/advice for your fans?
The digital currency market in 2025 is expected to be full of vitality and innovation, but it will also come with high volatility and potential regulatory challenges. We stand at the forefront of WEB3, already being leaders of the era, so I hope everyone can adopt a more open mindset towards certain matters:
1️⃣ Maintain curiosity: The world is full of unknown possibilities. Keeping a curiosity for new things and new technologies will help you find opportunities amid future changes.
2️⃣ Keep learning and growing: Whether in the field of digital currency or in any aspect of life, continuous learning and growth are key. The New Year is a great starting point to learn new skills or knowledge you’ve always wanted to understand.
3️⃣ Accumulate investment wisdom: Be cautious and rational when investing. Market fluctuations are normal; the important thing is to learn to identify opportunities amid risks while protecting your capital.
4️⃣ Maintain health and balance: Don’t let digital currency and its ups and downs occupy your entire life. Remember to keep your body healthy and your mind balanced. Health is the foundation of all achievements.
5️⃣ Stay optimistic and patient: The market may not move as expected, but maintaining optimism and patience, believing in long-term value, is essential. Success often requires the accumulation of time.
6️⃣ Keep your digital currency secure: This point must be emphasized; in the digital world, security is always the top priority, so don’t be lazy!
