Roger Ver, a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and founder of Bitcoin.com, widely referred to as “Bitcoin Jesus,” joined The Alex Jones Show alongside Tracy Thurman, the campaign lead for freerogernow.org. Similar to his appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show, Ver sat beside Thurman with a strip of tape over his mouth displaying the word “censored.” During the segment, Thurman shared Ver’s story with Adams, detailing how he has faced scrutiny from the U.S. government since 1999 and eventually left the country because he no longer felt free.

Thurman explained that well before bitcoin emerged, Ver had been subjected to lawfare akin to those faced by Alex Jones. “This is something they have in common is that they were both canaries in the coal mine of lawfare,” she said. “It was very clear to him that the U.S. government was not done with him.
The U.S. government wouldn’t would probably never be done with him. And so he decided tragically that he had to leave the country in order to be safe.” As Thurman outlined the malicious prosecution faced by the crypto entrepreneur, Adams interjected to ask if he could speak.

“I do want to mention before you continue, Tracy, that I am personally advocating for President Trump to consider a pardon for Roger Ver,” Adams emphasized. “A pardon of Roger Ver would send a very powerful message to the pro-freedom pro-American, pro-crypto community, that Donald Trump, that you understand their plight, and you are not going to allow the Department of Justice of this government to be weaponized against advocates of decentralized finance …
So that’s my view.”

After Adams spoke, Thurman resumed the discussion, focusing on Bitcoin and the risks linked to central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The Natural News founder noted a central theme, drawing parallels to how Info Wars has long cautioned against CBDCs. “It seems to me that one of the reasons why the U.S. government, at least the pre-Trump government, wants to prosecute Roger is because [and] this is just my opinion, but I believe that Roger’s education and empowerment of people would tend to help people realize the dangers of CBDCs.”

Adams expressed his dismay over Ver’s situation, highlighting the severity of the charges, which carry a potential sentence exceeding 100 years for alleged tax evasion. Thurman stressed that the case set a dangerous legal precedent concerning attorney-client privilege, warning that if the U.S. government succeeded, it would dismantle fundamental freedoms. She explained that federal agents had raided Ver’s attorney’s office, seizing confidential communications between Ver and his legal team. Adams acknowledged the extent of such legal tactics with personal experience, and he questioned why the U.S. would pursue Ver so aggressively.

The Natural News founder and The Alex Jones Show co-host stated:

Roger is a person who is a great innovator, the kind of person that makes this country great If you wanna make America great again, you need people like Roger here.

Adams urged The Alex Jones Show viewers to visit freerogernow.org to sign a petition supporting Ver’s release and exoneration. “Thank you for all you are doing, Roger,” Adams said to Ver. “I know the reason you’re not speaking, I would imagine is on attorney’s advice because of the persecution, the, you know, the the case that you’re facing, and we understand that,” he added.

“So we are asking I’m asking for Donald Trump to consider a pardon for Roger Ver, and at the same time, Ross Ulbricht …
Julian Assange, even consider Edward Snowden,” Adams further remarked.

The show host continued:

It strikes me that Roger’s plight is in some ways similar. Roger has had to give up his US. citizenship in order to try to be free from the selective targeted persecution by a malicious government that has weaponized the truth against the American people.

Adams also pointed out that since Donald Trump’s election as the 47th president of the United States, the current era is “changing dramatically. The defeat of Kamala, and the imminent defeat of elements of the deep state.” Thurman explained that she and Ver were hopeful of this change when Trump was elected president following election day.

The host expressed his agreement with Thurman, stating, “Freerogernow.org is the website, and I agree with you,” he said. “If you wanna make America, the crypto capital of the world, you start by pardoning Roger Ver and unleash him as an innovator for America—that’s how you make America great again.”
