I think expectations for imminent big rate cuts are not respecting the complexity of the Fed's reaction function here. They will not be quick to trigger unless conditions deteriorate w/ alacrity. Don't forget Q1 2024 when 10 CUTS were priced in. Powell has 1yr left on his legacy.
