REVIEWING THE 🐂 CASE FOR BITCOIN: Whether you’re a BTC Maxi, XRP Maxi, or other token Maxi, or whether you consider BTC a ponzi, or view it as the 🦖 🦕 of digital assets, if you’re a financial advisor, I do not see how you could advise a client to have no (zero) exposure to Bitcoin. Maybe this changes a year or more from now, but I’m talking about today at 84K. One more bit of news came out today: Cantor Fitzgerald launches Bitcoin-backed lending for institutions. @howardlutnick owns Cantor Fitzgerald. Howard Lutnick is also the U.S. Commerce Secretary. Before becoming Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick informed @APompliano that he owns tens of millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin, stating that the Bitcoin he owns “will become worth billions of dollars.” 🤯 Cantor Fitzgerald handles @Tether_to’s reserves and owns between 1-5% of Tether. Tether is one of the largest holders and purchasers of U.S. Treasuries. 🤯 The U.S. Treasury Secretary’s job, in part, is to drive demand for U.S. Treasuries. The U.S. Treasury Secretary is @SecScottBessent. Scott Bessent is also a big believer in Bitcoin and personally owns significant Bitcoin. 🤯 The President of the United States @realDonaldTrump, by Executive Order, established a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, indicating America will HODL its Bitcoin AND DIRECTED Howard Lutnick and Scott Bessent to find “budget-neutral” ways to ACQUIRE BTC. 🤯 That’s right: POTUS informed two Bitcoiners, who happen to be the U.S. TREASURY SECRETARY & U.S. COMMERCE SECRETARY to buy more Bitcoin without it costing taxpayers any money. My post below discusses MULTIPLE ways to comply with President Trump’s Directive. 🤯 Also, @BlackRock’s Larry Fink, who manages over 11 trillion dollars, has publicly stated Bitcoin should be in everyone’s portfolio. 🤯 Regardless of how you feel about Bitcoin, I think a financial advisor who doesn’t recommend, at least a small percentage (1-5%) of exposure to Bitcoin is 💯 negligent. When you take emotion, politics, and tribalism out of it, this could very well be the most asymmetrical trade or purchase of a lifetime - even more so than when BTC was under 20,000. But then again, this is just my 2 sats. 😝
