Macro prediction hasn't been this unanimous since Covid. Everyone is so smart: Trump wants lower rates, but the Fed doesn't budge. Need a recession! Trump: let's make numbers look bad. Very bad. DOGE fires bureaucrats (unemployment UP), cancel contracts... Turn ON and OFF tariffs to shake stock market, corporate confidence, etc. Trump is a real Chad, doesn't even look at the stock market. And can blame Joe Biden economy remnants for it. Powell: Economy looks strong. No need to cut interest. Everyone: F*****CK!! So, everyone positioning for market to dump to buy the dip expecting a V recovery as Fed pivots. Did I get this right?
