According to Decrypt, US authorities have offered a reward of $10 million for the capture of former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding. Wedding has been charged with serious suspicion of operating a multinational cocaine empire. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced on Thursday that the Canadian has been included in the top ten wanted criminals list in order to apprehend him as soon as possible.
In October 2024, the Ministry of Justice filed criminal charges against Wedding and 15 other defendants, accusing them of leading the group and committing multiple atrocities during drug trafficking. The US authorities claim that Wedding is suspected of using its criminal organization to smuggle hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and fentanyl to North America, and planning multiple murders to protect its business. It is reported that Wedding is suspected of using USDT for money laundering and bypassing traditional banking systems.
