Trump: UK and US are negotiating a trade agreement

US President Trump held a meeting with visiting British Prime Minister Stamer. After the meeting, both sides held a joint press conference. Regarding the topic of US UK trade and cooperation between the two countries, Trump stated that the US and the UK are currently negotiating a bilateral trade agreement. Trump said that the two sides will reach a "great trade deal" and ultimately reach an agreement that is very good for both countries. Stamer stated that the two countries have begun to develop a new economic agreement centered around advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence to strengthen their trade relationship. As for the recent threats by Trump to impose tariffs on other countries, Trump stated that he had discussed with Stamer about the US imposing tariffs on the UK, and Stamer attempted to persuade him not to impose tariffs on the UK. Trump also stated that if both sides reach a trade agreement, there is no need to impose tariffs on the UK.
