Meta negotiates $35 billion data center financing with private equity firm Apollo

According to informed sources, alternative asset management giant Apollo Global Management Inc. is in talks to lead an investment of approximately $35 billion in Meta Platforms, Zuckerberg's "metaverse company," to help build a series of data centers in the United States. Apollo will be the main investor, and the financing plan is still in the early stages of discussion. Recently, Meta has announced plans to invest up to $65 billion in artificial intelligence (AI) related fields by 2025.
