The security design of DeFi mostly comes from "balance", and absolute centralization and decentralization are not suitable. Timelock is the most representative, which ensures that even centralized power can be subject to scrutiny and supervision by the decentralized community to a certain extent, thus avoiding the risk of excessive centralization. For example, modifying protocol parameters and executing proposals can all go through Timelock, which many newcomers are not familiar with, but it is already very mature.
