Digital payments platform Wirex announced on March 27 the launch of Wirex Travel, a hotel booking platform that enables users to pay with cryptocurrency or traditional currencies while earning significant rewards.

The announcement explains that the new service offers travelers access to thousands of global hotel deals, with savings of up to 65% and as much as 8% cashback when paying with a Wirex card. The company framed the move as a natural extension of its goal to simplify cross-border payments and integrate crypto into everyday financial activities. Wirex stated:
