Speaking at a recent crypto conference, he voiced his ambition to turn the U.S. into the “crypto capital of the planet,” pledging to loosen regulations and create a national BTC reserve. In line with this shift, his campaign now accepts BTC donations, showing his fresh connection with the crypto community. In his Thursday post, Trump included the hashtag #FreeRossDayOne—a nod to his pledge to commute the sentence of the Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
