Undercover for half a year, exposing the dark secrets of the fleet leader! (This is how black money works)
Ten years ago, I used to run a seafood store, and there was a waiter named Xiao Luo who called me Boss Xiao. He couldn't afford to eat and couldn't pay his credit card, so I often helped him out. Later, in 2018, when I started my own basketball betting project, I didn't understand it, but suddenly made 30 million. Everyone started calling him Boss Luo.
But he cheated everyone around him. His friends, colleagues, and even his relatives all lost money.
Boss Luo bought three Porsches and started calling me brother instead of boss. He used to say to us poor guys, "I don't want to play with you all. I want to make a billion, become stronger, and create more glory."
He bought many apartments for rent and bought a storefront near the high-speed rail station for 9 million just because the salesperson was good-looking. He paid in full and the salesperson left with him that night.
When I was incubating a coin business in 2020, he mocked me, saying, "How much money can you make from this?" So he invested in FIL, Chia, and BZZ mining machines, mortgaged real estate, and took out high-interest loans directly.
Not long after, he lost everything, his liquid funds went to zero, and he continued to borrow at high interest rates. Not long after, when he was with his girlfriend in the apartment, the loan shark's staff followed him.
All debts started to explode, and he started calling me boss again, wanting to learn how to do the coin business from me and asking for resources. So I introduced him to a few peers, and Boss Luo officially entered the off-exchange coin business industry. His little brothers around him didn't respect him.
Later, Boss Luo went into hiding for about a year and was sentenced to three years. His little brother was sentenced to three and a half years, and his business partner was sentenced to over four years. I'll talk more about the legend behind this later.
Let's take the "black money" that is easily encountered when selling digital assets as an example. You need to know the nature of the assets you are selling in order to understand why this industry is so dangerous. Many novices boast about how much they've earned without their cards being frozen, but they are just lucky.
You are like someone walking through a fireworks store with a torch and thinking you are safe, but I still think you are a fool.
Three types of black money:
There are approximately five types of such funds. The first is impersonating public security, procuratorate, and judicial authorities to commit fraud. If it's just a persona, claiming to be a military officer, or using romantic relationships to persuade you to invest, it belongs to the "precision chat" type and not the three black types.
The second type is impersonating superiors. You often receive calls like "Xiao Li, come to my office," or "Guess who I am," impersonating leaders to commit fraud.
The third type is financial documents, such as impersonating the boss to request financial transfers in the name of paying for engineering, goods, deposits, bidding funds, etc.
The fourth type is obtaining payment information through high-tech methods such as cloned cards, phishing websites, and fake base stations for payment information theft, also known as payment information theft technology.
The fifth type is a bit more niche, but it's also a type of public security, similar to the "kill the pig" scam in China, but the victims are Chinese people abroad, such as international students.
High-tech:
Also known as AI information, impersonating the identities of the three black types belongs to the above three black types, while impersonating relatives and friends belongs to the below "reporting materials" or "big mixed materials."
Small three black:
A type of fraud that uses the guise of purchasing goods to have merchants transfer funds to a "gunner" account for purchasing. It usually involves impersonating a unit and purchasing items such as boxed meals, red wine, and building materials. This type is also immediately cracked down upon, and people may impersonate maternity and child care hospitals, medical insurance bureaus, and management bureaus. This also falls under the three black category.
Reporting materials, big mix +:
Impersonating relatives, friends, teachers, doctors, the child themselves, etc., to commit fraud.
Falsely claiming to be a friend and asking for help to pay for tickets on their behalf.
Committing fraud on social media platforms, such as selling concert tickets.
Collecting training fees, impersonating teachers to collect tuition, charging fees for obtaining driver's licenses, etc.
Committing fraud with virtual items, games, with relatively small amounts and short durations before being cracked down upon.
Committing fraud in the name of cross-border e-commerce, agency operations, with a longer cycle.
Impersonating celebrities, lawyers, agents, etc., with a long cycle. This is also the reason why many retail investors find their funds frozen months after receiving them.
Committing fraud in the name of currency exchange, usually involving large amounts and a long cycle, and often becomes a public news event when something goes wrong.
There are many other new fraud methods that have not yet become widespread in the industry.
You need to understand that the funds in the exchange and coin business are not clean. They are constantly circulating within this circle. The only difference is whether the coin business is aware or unaware, intentionally participating or not.
The consequence of the coin business being unaware is just getting your card frozen.
For retail investors, those who boast about not having their cards frozen for half a year are just being naive. I'm not scaring you for no reason. The only time I might benefit from scaring you is when you come to me for advice on how to unfreeze your card. Therefore, what we must learn is the type of funds entering your account.
Some fans have their funds frozen two years after selling their coins. What kind of funds are these?
Funds pool cover materials: The classification of funds pool materials is lower than the mixed materials mentioned above. These are the funds received on the last day, and these are the final victims. They are mostly reported to the police, i.e., the person who takes over the funds. However, most fleets do not accept the funds received on the last day, and these are also directly cracked down upon. Professional fleets are required to unload the funds, and as long as they are not frozen on that day, it's fine.
Funds pool collapse materials:
These are the profits obtained by the operators after the funds pool runs away. They will ensure that you are not frozen for 3-7 days. Professional fleets also unload these funds, and they are mostly processed through the coin business. Most of the funds received by retail investors are of this type.
Standard mixed materials:
Fraud committed under the guise of Taobao refunds, all refund-related activities, P2P refunds, online shopping refunds, flight ticket refunds, etc.
Small loans: All activities related to credit reporting, loans, credit cards, online loans, and million-dollar guarantees affecting credit scores fall into this category.
However, those who are scammed by faking loan transactions due to insufficient loan flow records do not fall into this category. Most of them are mixed materials, and they have directly deposited black money into your account. You may appear to be a victim, but in reality, you are helping telecom fraudsters by providing them with bank accounts.
Conventional materials:
These are the types of fraud that people often encounter, such as extortion through nude chats, video chats, blackmail, and extortion using contact lists, as well as individual money laundering. There are also adult entertainment groups, part-time jobs, and other activities to lure victims into brushing orders.
Door-to-door prostitution scams, using the pretext of transportation fees, deposits, pre-paid prostitution fees, etc., also fall into this category.
Precision chat fraud:
This includes the "kill the pig" type of emotional or investment scams, where a "gunner" conducts one-on-one scams. Impersonating a military officer or similar personas also falls into this category, but not under the three black types. Victims of this type of fraud rarely report it. I have encountered many consultations, and many are unwilling to report their "boyfriends," believing that their boyfriends are too good to them and did not deceive them, but rather that they failed in their investments.
Once, a victim consulted me, and after explaining to her for half an hour that she had been scammed by a "kill the pig" scam, she still didn't believe it. I immediately called the local police for her, and it took the officer four hours to convince her that she had been scammed.
Finally, she accepted reality, and there was even a wealthy woman who drove a Porsche.
Big area materials:
Financial investment scams, usually carried out by a group of scammers, often using high-risk investment projects as their products, with a cycle of 3-7-15 days for harvesting. The short cycle of the funds pool is 30-45 days, similar to the big area, and the long cycle of the funds pool is 3-6 months, with guaranteed investment projects as their products, some of which have been around for many years, such as MMM, Ezubao, etc.
Gambling materials:
Many so-called reputable "legitimate" platforms.
These are the types of funds that most retail investors encounter in exchanges. When you sell your coins, it's mostly this type of funds. I'm not scaring you for no reason.
This is the information about industry jargon. No one on the internet has told you this. Exposing it is to shut down these activities. Never let strangers transfer money to you. It's very likely that a small amount of money will enter your account and ruin your life.
Fighting fraud is not as simple as using a few slogans. It requires a deep understanding of the enemy's tactics and then dismantling them. If you freeze your card and don't know the nature of your funds, how can you deal with it?
I obtained all this information through personal experience, even sending the fleet leader to prison to get it.
Former official training instructor for Huobi merchants, one of the initial eight merchants for Binance OTC, Hashkey ambassador for fund transfers, no frozen funds since entering the industry in 2017, real-name payments on exchanges, and guaranteed compensation for frozen funds.
