Donald Trump will be formally sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and return to the White House at 10:30 p.m. Beijing time on January 20, 2025. The inauguration will include a formal swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and a series of formal balls. The musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time (10:30 p.m. Beijing time) on the main stage on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Afterward, Trump and Vance will hold the swearing-in ceremony, and the president will also deliver his inaugural address, outlining his goals for the next four years. Subsequently, Trump will proceed to the President's Office near the Senate to sign important documents and attend a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Inaugural Committee. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls – the Commanders-in-Chief Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Stars & Stripes Ball – where he is expected to deliver speeches at each of the events.
