Donald Trump will be officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at 10:30 PM Beijing time on January 20th. The inauguration ceremony will take place at the historic St. John's Church on Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., followed by a tea reception at the White House. Music performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM Eastern Time (10:30 PM Beijing time on January 20th) on the main stage on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Following this, Trump and Pence will take the oath of office, and the President will deliver his inaugural address, outlining his goals for the next four years. Afterward, Trump will head to the president's office near the Senate to sign important documents. He will then attend a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. Subsequently, the parade will proceed from the Capitol along Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls – the Commanders-in-Chief Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Liberty Ball. He is expected to give speeches at all three occasions.
