The inauguration ceremony will be held at St. John's Church in Lafayette Square, a historic location in Washington, D.C., followed by refreshments at the White House. Musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM EST (10:30 PM Beijing time on the 20th) on the main stage at the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol Building. Trump and Vance will then be sworn in, and the President will deliver his inaugural address, outlining his goals for the next four years. Following the ceremony, Trump will head to the President's office near the Senate to sign important documents and attend a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. In the afternoon, a parade will proceed from the Capitol Building along Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls – the Commander-in-Chief's Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Stars & Stripes Ball. He is expected to speak at all three events.
