Donald Trump will be officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and return to the White House at 10:30 PM Beijing time on January 20, 2025. The inauguration will include the official swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and a series of formal balls. Musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM EST (10:30 PM Beijing time on the 20th) on the main stage on the West Lawn of the US Capitol. Trump and Vance will then hold the swearing-in ceremony, and the president will deliver his inaugural address outlining his goals for the next four years. Afterwards, Trump will travel to the president’s office near the Senate to sign important documents and attend a luncheon hosted by the Congressional Inaugural Joint Committee. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls—the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Stars and Stripes Ball—and is expected to deliver speeches at all three events.
