#Ethereum Foundation Reform#

The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is undergoing a major reform, a process that has been ongoing for nearly a year. The goal of the reform is to enhance the EF leadership’s technical expertise, improve two-way communication with ecosystem participants (including users, application developers, wallets, and L2s), strengthen execution and speed, attract new talent, actively support application developers, and ensure that core values like privacy, open source, and censorship resistance are implemented at the application layer. Vitalik Buterin has emphasized that the EF will not pursue an ideological shift, will not excessively lobby regulators or political figures, and will never turn itself into an arena for interest groups. Specific measures of the reform include: introducing a new leadership team that includes technical experts and community representatives to ensure more transparent and democratic decision-making in the EF; enhancing communication with ecosystem participants to better understand their needs and expectations; and improving the EF’s execution to more effectively drive Ethereum's development. The ultimate goal of the reform is to make the EF a stronger, more efficient, and transparent organization to better support the healthy development of the Ethereum ecosystem.
