He led the department alongside Elon Musk and served as a campaign surrogate for Donald Trump. Ramaswamy's campaign plans haven’t been officially announced, but according to The Washington Post, he will formally announce his candidacy soon. Ohio has proposed legislation related to cryptocurrency, such as establishing a state-backed bitcoin reserve, and Ramaswamy's campaign plans may be inspired by these legislative efforts, potentially positioning cryptocurrency as a central issue in his campaign.
