#Coinbase Enhances Support for Solana#

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has recently expressed support for Solana on multiple occasions, stating that the company will strengthen its support for the blockchain, including expanding infrastructure and providing native support for common use cases such as DEX and memecoin trading. He aims to elevate Solana support to a "Tier 1 support" level equivalent to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Base. Previously, Coinbase faced user dissatisfaction due to transaction delays caused by a surge in Solana trading activity. Armstrong acknowledged the need to provide better service to users during periods of high demand and stated that the transaction delay issue has been resolved, ensuring user funds are safe. Furthermore, Armstrong expressed bullish sentiments towards Bitcoin, believing it can effectively counterbalance deficit spending and inflation, and he anticipates the price of Bitcoin to reach millions of dollars. He also mentioned that there's growing interest among finance ministers in various countries to hold Bitcoin. Simultaneously, Armstrong addressed the issue of stablecoin regulation, expressing concerns that upcoming U.S. stablecoin regulations might mandate issuers to fully back their dollar-pegged tokens with U.S. Treasury bonds. He stated that Coinbase would delist USDT if Tether fails to comply with any new U.S. laws.
