#Vitalik Responds to Controversy: EF Decision-Making Power Lies with Me#

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently responded to controversy surrounding the Ethereum Foundation (EF) leadership change on social media. He explicitly stated that he has the authority to make decisions for the current new leadership team of the EF, and the ongoing reforms aim to introduce a formal board of directors to the foundation. However, until this happens, the decision-making power still rests with him personally. Vitalik criticized the pressure tactics on social media, claiming that they disrupt the work environment for excellent developers and make EF management more difficult. He pointed out that such behavior is not only unhelpful in achieving goals but also diminishes his interest in meeting these demands. Furthermore, he defended Aya Miyaguchi, pointing out that the attacks against her were due to translation bias and criticizing these attacks as "pure malice." At the same time, Vitalik also expressed his views on the future development of the EF. He believes that the EF should focus on the core areas of Ethereum that it can effectively represent, while creating space for other organizations to develop other aspects of the ecosystem in a more suitable form, some of which may even be more suitable for profit-oriented models.
