#Aave Founder Suggests Reform for Ethereum Foundation#

Aave founder Stani Kulechov recently proposed 12 reform suggestions aimed at addressing the Ethereum Foundation's (EF) excessive spending and fund management issues, aiming for sustainable development. Stani believes that the EF should reduce its annual spending from $130 million to $30 million, limit its workforce to 80 people, and streamline its team structure by eliminating unnecessary positions, ensuring that 80% of its team members are technical personnel. He also suggests establishing a 5-member leadership committee with Vitalik Buterin as its chair, and enhancing fund management by diversifying investments into low-risk long-term assets, DeFi projects, and profitable projects in the Ethereum ecosystem, converting staking rewards into stablecoins, and generating additional income through DeFi. Furthermore, Stani suggests establishing a sustainable revenue model by leveraging transaction fees or staking rewards to support a reasonable EF budget. Stani emphasizes that the current team size is prone to communication breakdowns, proposing a streamlined and more efficient structure focused on long-term sustainability. Notably, Vitalik Buterin also announced changes in the Ethereum Foundation leadership aimed at achieving five goals, echoing Stani's proposals, indicating that the EF is actively seeking reform to better address future challenges.
