Odaily Planet Daily News: Elmar Voelker, an analyst at LBBW, stated in a report that the interest rate decision at the Federal Reserve's meeting next week is not as clear as shown by forward rates. In our opinion, the recently released macroeconomic data from the United States does not provide a clear template for the upcoming interest rate decision, "said the senior fixed income analyst. Voelker said that from the perspective of bond market participants, there is not much difference between "cutting interest rates in December and implying a pause in January" and "pausing in December and implying a rate cut in January". LSEG's data shows that the money market believes there is a 94% chance of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points next week, while the likelihood of keeping rates unchanged is 6%.
