Odaily Planet Daily News: The Monetary Policy Radar team of the Financial Times predicts that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates twice in 2025, with a six-month interval between the two cuts. In its brown book report on regional business contacts, the Federal Reserve stated that economic activity in its 12 regional jurisdictions increased "slightly or moderately" in late November and December last year, an improvement from the previous report released in early December. The brown book is one of the regular economic briefing documents received by Federal Reserve officials before policy meetings. The next meeting of officials will be held from January 28th to 29th. The futures market shows that it is almost impossible to lower the benchmark loan interest rate at this meeting. (Golden Ten)
