Thai police: seeking to ban Polymarket, whose services are illegal

On January 15th, according to Bloomberg, Thai police announced at a press conference on Tuesday that the country's law enforcement agencies are preparing to impose a ban similar to Singapore on Polymarket. The police stated in a statement that Polymarket was found to be providing illegal online gambling services in the country because it uses cryptocurrency for trading and betting.
