According to Cryptonews, Brazil's top regulatory agency, the Securities and Futures Exchange (CVM), recently released survey results showing that more Brazilians are investing, trading, or holding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, with investors using 7% to 35% of their funds to purchase these tokens. This study was conducted by CVM in 2023, investigating the investment behavior of over 700 individuals. The respondents were divided into three categories of investors: "conservative," "conservative," and "aggressive. Conservative investors allocate an average of 7.25% of their savings to cryptocurrency, while conservative investors invest 21% of their financial product portfolio in cryptocurrency assets. And radical investors are the most optimistic, with cryptocurrency assets accounting for as much as 35% of their investment portfolio. It is worth noting that about 50% of the respondents consider themselves radical investors, indicating that Brazilian investors are passionate about cryptocurrencies. In contrast, conservative investors have a more traditional investment portfolio, with over 50% consisting of fixed income securities such as CDB and RDBs. They also prefer government bonds and have relatively fewer options for overseas currencies.
