Kraken acquires NinjaTrader for $1.5 billion, entering the US cryptocurrency futures market

According to CoinDesk, Kraken announced the acquisition of US futures trading platform NinjaTrader for $1.5 billion. Through this acquisition, Kraken will be able to offer cryptocurrency futures and derivatives trading in the United States, as NinjaTrader has obtained CFTC registration. In addition, Kraken's regulatory licenses in the UK, EU, and Australia will help NinjaTrader expand in these regions.
