JPMorgan Chase: Bitcoin network hash rate increased by 1% in January

According to CoinDesk, JPMorgan Chase stated in a research report that the hash rate of the Bitcoin network increased slightly in January, by only 1%, while mining difficulty decreased by 2% month on month. Analysts Reginald Smith and Charles Pearce believe that "this situation is relatively uncommon and a mild tailwind for the Bitcoin mining economy," adding that network difficulty is still 25% higher than before the halving event in April last year.
