NYSE Arca trading hours adjustment: 22 hours per day, synchronized with regulatory updates

According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas' post on X platform, the New York Stock Exchange plans to extend its NYSE Arca stock exchange's weekday trading hours to 22 hours per day. As part of the Intercontinental Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange announced that its fully electronic trading platform, NYSE Arca, will have extended trading hours from 1:30am to 11:30pm Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. Kevin Tyrrell, the market director of the New York Stock Exchange, stated, "The New York Stock Exchange's decision to extend trading hours for US stocks to 22 hours a day, no day a week, highlights the strength of the US capital market and the growing global demand for our listed securities." He also stated that he will seek support from US securities information processing companies to expand trading, and these changes will be accompanied by regulatory updates. The New York Stock Exchange has stated that it will submit an updated framework to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
