Bitstamp obtains MiFID MTF license from Slovenian securities regulatory agency

On October 28th, according to official sources, the Slovenian securities regulatory agency has granted a MiFID MTF license to Bitstamp, allowing the cryptocurrency trading platform to offer more complex products to institutional and retail customers. The license also allows Bitstamp to launch cryptocurrency derivatives, including perpetual contracts.
