Ethereum technology expert Vinay Gupta plans to push encryption policies towards Trump transition team

Odaily Planet Daily News: Vinay Gupta, a technology expert who helped coordinate the release of Ethereum, said he is seeking to push for a rational encryption policy with President elect Donald Trump's transition team. In addition, inspired by Trump's overwhelming victory on election day, Gupta is considering relocating himself and his team from Mattereum, a blockchain company based in the UK, to the United States. He added, "We plan to quickly relocate personnel (including myself) to Washington D.C. to help with the cryptocurrency transformation in the United States Vinay Gupta said that part of his plan includes replicating some of the policies he helped develop in the UK, including the recently proposed parliamentary bill that attempts to formally define cryptocurrency as property and successfully push for the country to recognize smart contracts as "actual contracts".
