Carrie Lam emphasized that accelerating the development of the digital economy can accelerate the digital transformation of industries and strengthen digital infrastructure. The government is studying the promotion of a data trading ecosystem and exploring arrangements for facilitating cross-border data flow through the Greater Bay Area as a pilot.
