Standard Chartered Bank's crypto custodian Zodia is in talks to raise $50 million in funding

According to Bloomberg, Julian Sawyer, CEO of Zodia Custody, a cryptocurrency custodian at Standard Chartered Bank, stated in an interview that the company is seeking $50 million in funding from investors to drive its plans to expand into new regions and product offerings. Sawyer added that although Zodia currently has support from multiple wholesale finance companies, it now hopes to attract more diverse types of investors, including payment and tokenization companies; Architect Partners, a consulting firm specializing in cryptocurrency, is assisting with the work that began last month.
