Carlyle Group: Expected Fed to cut interest rates three times this year and then pause to assess impact

Odaily Planet Daily News: Carlyle Group expects the Federal Reserve to make three interest rate cuts before the end of this year, and then pause the cuts when assessing the impact. This private equity firm stated that it still sees signs of the economy being "vibrant". The CEO of the institution, Schwartz, said that monetary policy has already played a role in curbing inflation, and after the expected interest rate cut in 2024, the Federal Reserve may only need to cut interest rates again next year. Schwartz stated that trading activity in the United States has begun to improve and should continue to increase unless there is an unexpected market disruption. In the first half of this year, the amount of funds allocated and liquidated by Carlyle has increased, but these two indicators are still far below their peak levels. (Golden Ten)
