According to Foresight News, the privacy blockchain Miden developed by a former Meta engineer has raised $25 million in funding, led by Andreessen Horowitz's cryptocurrency division, Hack VC, and 1kx. Other investors include Finals Capital Partners and Symbolic Capital, as well as cryptocurrency angel investors such as Avery Ching, co-founder of Aptos blockchain. This financing is used for equity and token warrants, which are commitments for yet to be issued cryptocurrencies. Polygon Labs, a well-known company in the cryptocurrency field, has incubated Miden. The company did not participate in this round of financing, but reached an agreement that Miden will distribute approximately 10% of its future cryptocurrency to holders of Polygon's own tokens. Miden co-founder Azeem Khan refused to disclose his company's valuation.
