Golden Finance reports that US Treasury Secretary Benson: Trump's mention of "terminating" Federal Reserve Chairman Powell may refer to Powell's term expiring. I am not surprised by Trump's remarks about Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, as he has previously expressed dissatisfaction with the Fed Chairman's performance during his term. I have not yet taken a position on whether Trump has the legal capacity to dismiss Federal Reserve Chairman Powell.
