According to Decrypt, Polygon Labs has partnered with sustainable infrastructure startup Pyse to tokenize Dubai's electric motorcycles, using Polygon blockchain technology to anchor asset ownership and collect data in real-time. This collaboration aims to combine stable revenue electric motorcycles with dynamic data monetization, laying the foundation for entering the growing electric vehicle market in India. Aishwary Gupta, Global Head of Payments and Liquidity at Polygon, stated that real-world assets are one of Polygon's key focuses and hopes that all tokenizable assets can be integrated into Polygon. Each electric motorcycle is equipped with Pyse's proprietary DePIN mining machine (DMM), which collects data on air quality, road wear, and noise pollution during delivery and uploads it to the blockchain. Rewards are distributed through token incentives. This model combines RWA returns with DePIN token incentives, allowing contributors to benefit from both assets and data output.
