According to CNBC, the UK Competition Appeals Court has received a class action lawsuit accusing Google of abusing its "almost complete dominance" in the search market, restricting competitors, and pushing up advertising costs. The lawsuit is filed by legal scholar Or Brook on behalf of a UK organization that has been using Google search advertising services since January 1, 2011, with a claim amount exceeding £ 5 billion. The lawsuit alleges that Google is suspected of illegally manipulating the market by suppressing competitors through agreements with mobile phone manufacturers and Apple, as well as restricting the functionality of competitive advertising tools.
