According to BlockBeats, on the evening of April 13th, the US Customs and Border Protection announced that the US would exempt some goods from "equivalent tariffs", and the federal government has agreed to exempt electronic products such as smartphones, computers, and chips from the so-called "equivalent tariffs". The document shows that the exempted products are applicable to electronic products entering the United States after April 5th, and refunds can be sought for the "equivalent tariffs" already paid. This measure may to some extent alleviate the price pressure faced by American consumers and benefit electronics giants including Apple and Samsung. Financial analyst Hussein Kubesi pointed out that this marks a "180 degree turn" in the US government's tariff policy. (Golden Ten)
