The IRS DeFi Broker Rules have been officially abolished

Odaily Planet Daily News: US President Trump has signed a bill announcing the formal repeal of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) DeFi crypto broker rules, the first cryptocurrency bill signed into law by a president. Previously, the 2024 regulations classified DeFi platforms as brokers, which means they must submit 1099 IRS forms for their users. Trump once said that the rule "impedes American innovation" and "infringes the privacy of ordinary Americans".
