According to FT, UK digital banking giant and crypto friendly bank Revolut has been fined € 3.5 million by the Lithuanian central bank for significant flaws in customer transaction monitoring, setting a record for the largest fine in the company's history. The regulatory authorities pointed out that Revolut failed to identify suspicious transactions in a timely manner, violating anti money laundering regulations.
