Casa co-founder and Chief Security Officer Jameson Lopp warns that "address poisoning" attacks on the Bitcoin chain are increasing, as attackers use low transaction fees to send disguised addresses on a large scale, inducing users to mistakenly transfer funds to the wrong address. Since 2023, approximately 48000 suspected attack incidents have been identified, of which at least one resulted in losses, with victims mistakenly transferring 0.1 BTC to malicious addresses. Although the success rate of the attack is not high, the low transaction fee allows for large-scale execution in a short period of time. Lopp suggests that wallet software can add a similar address warning mechanism to reduce risks. (TheBlock) https://www. (wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=40570
