I just read the annual letter from the CEO of BlackRock, and there is a data that shocked me:
In the past 40 years, the growth of global GDP has exceeded the total of the previous two thousand years
In this' eternal bull market ', the US stock market continues to reach historic highs.
However, at the same time, only 60% of American households hold stocks.
This ratio is far below my expectations.
So I started thinking about it——
If even assets like the US stock market, which are bullish, low volatility, compliant and transparent, have a penetration rate of only 60%, what about the cryptocurrency industry?
Is it possible for it to break through this ratio and even truly become a part of people's daily lives?
If it can be achieved, what will be relied upon?
·Is it the lowering of participation barriers and democratization of investment brought about by the "asset tokenization" mentioned by the CEO of BlackRock?
·Is it a comprehensive relay for Generation Z?
·Or is it a safe haven choice in some grand context, such as war or systemic trust collapse?
If it cannot be achieved, is the current user base already the "ceiling" of the industry?
To be honest, if this is the pinnacle of the industry, how far can the future of encryption go?
