BlockBeats News: On April 2nd, Ethereum researcher Mikaeneuder.eth proposed EIP-7922, aimed at improving Ethereum validator exit queues, enhancing exit flexibility and efficiency, while ensuring system security. It is reported that Ethereum currently adopts a fixed exit limit per epoch (about 16 exits), which can ensure economic security (control the number of exits, prevent security decline), but when the demand for exits surges, validators need to wait for a long time, increasing liquidity risks and capital costs. EIP-7922 proposes to dynamically adjust the number of exits based on recent actual exit situations (such as allowing more exits to shorten waiting times if there have been fewer exits in the past two weeks), replacing fixed restrictions. The proposal is currently in the draft stage.
