According to Cointelegraph, the latest report from Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) shows that IT technicians with ties to North Korea are expanding their infiltration targets to blockchain companies outside the United States. With the tightening of regulatory scrutiny in the United States, these technology spies have infiltrated UK cryptocurrency projects. The report points out that although the United States remains the main target, increasingly strict employment reviews have forced North Korean IT personnel to turn to non US companies for job hunting. These individuals build a global operational network by forging identities, with their infiltration scope covering traditional network development as well as blockchain applications such as Solana and Anchor smart contracts.
