According to BlockBeats, on March 31st, since Bitcoin halved its block rewards last year, Ethereum's performance has fallen short of Bitcoin, marking the first time such a situation has occurred. The ETH/BTC exchange rate fell to a five-year low of 0.02193. This year, Ethereum has fallen by 39% compared to Bitcoin. In May 2020, the price of Ethereum was around $200, while the price of Bitcoin was slightly below $10000. Currently, the price of Ethereum is around $1800, and the price of Bitcoin is around $82000. The current downturn echoes the poor performance in 2019, further highlighting Ethereum's relative weakness, especially compared to other first tier assets. The SOL/ETH exchange rate has risen by 24% so far this year, reaching 0.07007. This indicates that although the SOL token itself has fallen by 35% so far this year, its performance will still be significantly better than Ethereum in 2025.
