Chainlink SVR is officially live on mainnet, featuring @aave (largest DeFi protocol by TVL) as the first user 🔥 Smart Value Recapture (SVR) enables DeFi apps to recapture oracle-related MEV, increasing their protocol revenue while supporting the economic sustainability of oracles Aave is using SVR to recapture liquidation MEV, starting with an initial collection of markets (tBTC, LBTC, AAVE, & LINK) before expanding in the future Recaptured OEV revenue will be split between Aave and Chainlink, starting with an initial 6-month discounted rate of 65% to the Aave ecosystem and 35% to the Chainlink ecosystem SVR is also the first Chainlink service to be connected to Payment Abstraction—a cross-chain payment system that enables service fees to be converted into LINK (more info on this to come!) Tens of millions of dollars of liquidation MEV have historically been leaked during the block building process, with none returning back to DeFi protocols.
