US Senator Ted Cruz proposes to ban the Federal Reserve from issuing CBDC bills

On March 28th, according to Zerohedge, US Senator Ted Cruz proposed a bill to ban the Federal Reserve from issuing central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). This Texas Republican senator's bill can be seen as a companion bill to Minnesota Republican Congressman Tom Emmer's anti CBDC legislation. Emmer's bill was reintroduced on March 6th. Accompanying legislation is legislation that is similar or identical in wording to another bill and is presented in another chamber of Congress.
