According to the official website of the SEC, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Cryptocurrency Working Group announced that it will hold four new round tables from April to June 2025, covering topics such as cryptocurrency trading, custody, asset tokenization, and DeFi. The four public roundtable topics are: "Tailored regulation for cryptocurrency trading" on April 11th, "Key issues for custody institutions" on April 25th, "Integration of asset on chain and traditional finance" on May 12th, and "DeFi and the American spirit" on June 6th. Commissioner Hester Peirce referred to this as the 'spring sprint towards encrypted clarity', marking a new direction for the SEC from law enforcement to cooperation and clear regulatory frameworks. The conference will be open to the public and live streamed online.
