CME Group partners with Google Cloud to test tokenization

According to the press release, both parties plan to launch direct testing for market participants within the year and expect to launch new services in 2026. CME will use Google Cloud's private programmable network to test how digital asset infrastructure can optimize settlement and clearing processes. This move reflects the increasing trend of traditional financial companies adopting blockchain technology to achieve 24/7 efficient settlement.
