The STRK Staking V2 voting started today, intending to shift validators from running complete nodes and monitoring networks to sending block proofs

According to a report by Golden Finance, Starknet announced on X platform that the official voting for STRK Staking V2 will begin at 4 pm (UTC time) today. The upgrade of Staking V2 will shift validators from running complete nodes and monitoring networks to sending block proofs, with the main goal of evaluating their activity before they take on the role of influencing Starknet consensus (planned to be completed by the end of 2025). In addition, the proposal also introduces a new transparent commission adjustment function to enhance economic incentives.
